This book is part of six children's books of Kemal Yalçın. In the evening little Cemal has to leave the family's orchards and to go back to his village. Walking all alone through the awful darkness of the night he has some horrifying experiences.

Kemal Yalçın is working at a comprehensive school in Bochum and has developed quite remarkable literature projects with his pupils. One of them is the unforgettable poem anthology Die Wildrose – Yabangülü.

In 2007 the writer managed to realize a project of a similar scope titled "Hayalimdeki Okul" (much like "That's how school should be"). He was given an award for that project on June 19th, 2008, in Cologne. A compilation is going to be published.
